Our founders, who are proud Yorùbá speakers and cultural enthusiasts, noticed a growing need to make Yorùbá accessible to those in the diaspora and beyond.

Olùkọ́ Àgba Olúyẹmisi Babátúndé

With over 20 years of experience teaching Yorùbá, Olùkọ́ is a respected  teacher and cultural ambassador. Her passion for the language is infectious, and her approach to teaching makes learning Yorùba both fun and meaningful.

Olùkọ́ Olúfúnkẹ́ Adélékè

Brings her expertise in early childhood education to Yorùbá Wa, designing interactive and engaging lessons for our younger learners. She believes in nurturing a love for Yoruba from a young age.
